OK, I have been told by a ton of people (Guys and Girls) that if I%26#039;m going to wear Flip-flops I have to paint my toes!!!!! What is the Big Deal??? What is this a Rule among men that toes cannot show unless they have color on them???? I just don%26#039;t get it... if God intended for our toes to have color I think he would have created us with colorful toes.... Every time I where flip-flops to work and other places everyone is like %26quot;paint your toes%26quot; then I like %26quot;Why?%26quot; they%26#039;er all like %26quot;Cuz their ugly%26quot; Truthfully I%26#039;m like %26quot;you should stop Judging people by there feet!%26quot; LOL! Well!
Can you see where I%26#039;m coming from? Is it like an unspoken rule to have your toes painted before you even think about wearing flip-flops? I don%26#039;t think feet are ugly, and if everyone dosn%26#039;t like looking at feet without painted toes, my advice to them would be to STOP LOOKING DOWN ALL THE TIME THEN......
or am I just the stick on the mud?

Reply:I don%26#039;t paint my toes very often, but I always wear flip-flops. Just make sure you are keeping them really neat! Long toe-nails look bad (ewww!) and so do round ones. Make sure when you cut your toe-nails, your cutting them straight across, so it gives you foot a good shape. Also get a foot file and/or a pumice stone and scrub all the dead skin off!! Happy flip-flopping!!

its not because feet are ugly (which they can be ) but because women need to be well groomed and seemingly trivial matters to you,translate into %26quot;attention to detail%26quot; for a lady.
it really doesnt take that long especially if you are already wearing flip flops
i personally dont wear plastic or rubber flip flops anyways i think they are tacky and disgusting

Horny, unclipped toenails, fissures in the heels and other signs of neglect to ones feet indicate a lack of pride in ones appearance. It takes a bit of extra time to keep the cuticle on toes pushed back. Callouses and rough skin can be removed with a pumice stone, or a good grade of automotive repair wet sand paper. Applying moisturizing cream or carmol cream to feet keeps them looking soft and clean. Pretty feet are as important to me in males as well as females. When I see a person with well cared for feet, I get a fairly accurate sense of who they are.
Reply:I don%26#039;t paint my toe nails, I don%26#039;t have that kind of time. I have about a million things I%26#039;d rather do than paint my fingers and toes. But not putting polish on my nails doesn%26#039;t make my hands and feet not cared for. As long as you exfoliate your feet in the shower and don%26#039;t have dirty feet, wear your flip flops and sandels all you want! The important thing is to have nice looking, cared for nails, not having some flashy, trendy color on them. Besides, I%26#039;ve seen PLENTY of women with painted finger and toe nails and their feet and hands STILL look hideous. Polish does not equal nice looking nails!

But if you really get bothered by this, maybe make the people happy and give yourself a french pedicure? I do that a lot when I dont feel like painting my toenails. Reply:Wow, I always thought this was a free country. If you don%26#039;t want to paint your toes while you wear your flip flops, you don%26#039;t have to! I don%26#039;t wear nail polish on my toes and I wear open toed shoes everyday! Sure, it makes you look more polished or whatever, but there%26#039;s no rule that says you HAVE to wear nail polish! However, I do make sure I keep my feet looking very clean and well maintained. I buff and cut the nails once a week and have some foot scrub I use in the shower everyday.
As long as your nails aren%26#039;t long enough for you to climb trees with or yellow enough to challenge the sun, wear %26#039;em as much as you want!
Reply:Nail polish is required when wearing any type of open toe shoe. Its sad, but it is some kind of unspoken rule among women. Pedicured feet are the way to go. I used to think like you, I thought it didn%26#039;t matter either way as long as my feet were manicured and the toenails were properly maintained.
It depends on personal preference, but it makes a world of difference as far as appearance goes. Painted toes just look better than unpainted toes. That%26#039;s what swayed my point of view, but then again, I was a tomboy as a young girl so I thought a lot of things that women do to %26quot;look good%26quot; were a waste of time. If plain is how you wanna go, then thats totally up to you, but just consider the option. I know its sad that people are obsessed with appearances and its even more sad that people are walking around, looking down, judging people by their feet.

Some people have no lives. And some people, when they can%26#039;t find anything else to criticize, pick the stupidest meanest littlest thing...you are probably over-all better dressed than the mean ones and they are jealous. Get revenge, paint your toes black or green or some disgusting color and then see what they say. and then say...%26quot;at least it%26#039;s colourful!%26quot; %26gt;:-)
